They brought with them Shiloh's first Christmas present of the year... or, well, the box containing all its components, anyway.

Whaaaaaat?!? A trillion bajillion pieces, yes! It took the four of us two and a half hours to assemble it, but (finally!) the end product looked like this:

So Monday morning, we all gathered in the living room as Shiloh woke up. We had thrown a blanket over top of it. We brought her into the room and asked her to take that blanket to Mia because "she's cold." So Shiloh trots over to the hidden kitchen, pulls the blanket down, and gasps. "WOW!!!" She squealed. "Look at dat!!!" Her voice was musical, high pitched, and adorable. It was the perfect reaction! She began exploring it immediately, but after a few minutes, she reached down to pick up the forgotten blanket and dragged it over to Mia's lap. She then ran back and proceeded to be entertained by her kitchen for TWO HOURS.
Here are a few photos of our little girl playing with her awesome kitchen:
Rule #1: Always, always wash your hands before you cook anything!

The squash goes into the dishwasher first...

... and then into the oven.

Just so you know, Care Bears are bake-able too!

Look at that smile! She loves it!!!

Thank you, Yoda and Mia! We'll be eating squash casserole for years to come! :)
