First Chuck E. Cheese Experience

To celebrate Yoda and Mia's arrival last weekend, and because we were all feeling brave and oblivious, we embarked on Shiloh's first trip to Chuck E. Cheese's. The pizza was, of course, subpar and way overpriced... but man oh man, did baby girl have fun playing any and every game her little heart desired! She is so accustomed to me telling her, "Mommy doesn't have any money, sweetheart" when we'd walk out of stores with the truck or pony rides, that she was THRILLED to have an entire cup of tokens at her disposal. She buzzed around the game area, with us buzzing around right behind her (hello, helicopter parenting!) to protect her from the masses of unruly, misbehaving children. Here are a few photos of the (exhausting!) experience:

She could barely contain her excitement to sit still for 1 minute...

Wait a minute... a rocketship??
A rocketship? What have I agreed to?!?

Where's this thing taking me, anyway?
Wow! Where's this rocket taking me?

The odd thing is, Shiloh's the one semi- on target in this picture!

Now THIS is a scary sight for Mommy!

Oh, you know, just playing skee ball.
So that's where the balls come from!

*Funny story... I was the one in charge of collecting our tickets. When we cashed them in, we were all thinking, "It seems like we had more than that. Oh well." So Shiloh picked out a bracelet and some Spongebob stickers and we headed home. Later that night, I reached into my back pocket only to find... you guessed it.... a HUGE stash of tickets, DOUBLE the amount we'd cashed in... whoops! Sorry, Shi! Mommy dropped the ball on that one. (It did make for a good laugh when they were discovered, though... ) :)
