It's difficult to tell the color from the photo, but the chairs are actually brown with black frames, and the table is black. I love LOVE sitting out on the deck in the morning or evening, drinking coffee, listening to the birds in the walnut tree, and reading or doing Bible studies. Actually, Lucy Blue (my laptop) and I are camped out here right now as I speak!
Another quick house project we undertook was exchanging these old cabinet knobs...
... in lieu of some new hardware.
Can you tell house projects are a new addiction for us??

isn't it so fun to see what big or little things you xcan do to change a house and make it ALL YOURS! I'd have a new project every weekend if Erik (and our wallets) would let me! :)
