God has opened a new door for me (and my family) career-wise, and I couldn't be more excited about it!

Beginning August 3rd, I will begin working at Baptist East Milestone. This facility is a wellness center which also houses an aquatics program and an outpatient physical therapy clinic called Baptist East Spine and Sport Therapy (BESST). I will be working 2 days per week doing aquatic therapy in the warm water pool and 1 day per week in the outpatient clinic. It is such a great opportunity, one that I have prayed about for a couple of years, because I have wanted to work for Baptist East since I was in PT school. Aquatics will be a bit of a new venue for me because we didn't utilize our therapy pool to nearly the same extent at SIRH, and aquatics opportunities are few and far between. However, I'm excited about developing skills in this new area, and about learning from the great PT's I have met there so far.
This is MUCH closer to home, there is on-site childcare available at the hospital should we need it, better benefits, GREAT people, etc. I'm so glad this was not in my hands because I couldn't have coordinated things so perfectly!
Well, there is the one drawback that I'm beginning to address -- the fact that my new dress code will consist of swimwear... ugh! ;P Oh well. I'll just focus on the positive-- it's another excuse to shop!

Wonderful!! Can't wait to hear about it!
yeah!! congrats!
like you have to be worried about wearing swimwear... just about how dorky the uniform suit would be. :)
Congrats on the new job! What an exciting opportunity!
