On a professional note...

Just a litle something to share with anyone who may be interested to know a little more about the goings-on in my physical therapy career...

My capstone project from Bellarmine's DPT program (the culminating project of our doctoral degrees) has been accepted as a poster presentation at CSM Las Vegas (the nationwide Combined Sections Meeting of our professional organization, the APTA). One of my fellow group members will be fielding questions, etc. at the poster presentation. Basically, we designed an evidence-based ergonomic training module which companies could potentially use with their employees. However, it has been recommended to us by some colleagues and former professors that we get the module copyrighted before allowing anyone to use it (which we have not yet pursued).

You can read a little more about our project and what we did here [click "search" in the upper left hand corner, and type "kiefer" under author last name... our project will be the only one that pops up, entitled "The Systematic Development of an Evidence-Based Ergonomic Training Module: A Community Partner Project"]. Let me know what you think! And, in the off chance that anyone is actually interested in seeing the poster, I have in in .pdf format, and I'd be happy to share it with you -- it is, however, too large to post on this website.
