Last weekend, my mom was able to make it up from TX for a visit, and a wonderful one at that! [The entire day before Shiloh began prepping herself for her visit by saying "Non-nie, Non-nie, mor-row!"] Shiloh and I loved spending time with her, and it was heartwarming to sit back and watch the two of them get to know each other. Nonnie was able to watch Shi tromp around in her rain boots, dance, and ride on the horsey she sent her for Christmas. At dinner, Nonnie fed Shi bites of "roni" [macaroni], a big favorite.... then playing and squirting water at bathtime... and then Nonnie read Shi a book for the first time, and rocked her to sleep. It really was precious!

The three of us, enjoying each other's company :)
[And the hat Nonnie brought her, which was a HUGE hit]

Stylin' and profilin'.

Playing with Nonnie's hair, or ear... Shi is fascinated with both!
Nonnie also brought her new baby, Isabella Grayson, a Malti-Peke who was about 8 weeks old [and around 1.5 pounds... so tiny!!]. She's adorable!! Shiloh loves animals, especially dogs, and was quite taken with Izzy! She has talked about "Zizzy.... zizzy..." ever since!!

Cute little thing, isn't she??

The glowing new "Mommy".

Mom's friend Karen took this pic, so I can't take credit... but how fantastic is that?!?
[The other dog is Karen's lab, Kylie]

Nonnie helps Shi hold "Zizzy".

Zizzy helps Shi read a book...

... "First, Zizzy, you climb inside the book like this.... see? You can see the pictures better this way."
