i recently purchased this matching handmade changing pad and decorated wipe case from etsy simply because i thought they were adorable! we really had no need for them (ask my husband). :) i loved the pattern though and thought they would be a cute complement to our brown diaper bag. can you imagine how much more fun changing diapers will be now that i have these new tools with which to complete the task?!?
we also got this thermometer the other day at sam's... and you are probably wondering why on earth i would get so excited about such a silly necessity! but this is one takes your temperature at the temporal artery and is super quick... basically you touch it to the spot on your forehead and WHAMMO! in a second or so you have the temperature! it's amazing... and perfect for those wiggly little ones who won't hold still long enough for a temp under their arm... and it saves you the trouble of going in the other way (eek!) because it's as accurate if not more so than rectal temps! plus the whole family can use it. woohoo! :D
finally... (and no, we have not been on a spending spree... i have just been saving this post until i had a few cool new things to mention!)... i got a new camera a couple weeks ago. it was really time for this, seeing as how my old one was from the Dark Ages and only 2.0 MP! so it's nothing fancy, but will take much nicer pictures of the little one... and i'm kinda pumped that it's blue :)
well, that about sums things up... yep yep.

Man oh man! I LOVE that pear fabric! I'd seen it before on a baby bib and had thought about planning my kitchen colors around another colorwave of the same pattern- too super dooper cute!!

i just LOVE those fabric covered wipes cases! i've been looking at them on etsy and ebay too! haven't gotten one yet though. someday.
also, i should give you congrats on your new camera. i am a HUGE nikon snob. so, i approve and i hope you're happy with it! i think the coolpix line is great. caleb has one too! now we should get to see tons of sweet baby shi pics! ;)
The changing pad and wipes case are so precious! I totally agree that their cuteness will making diaper changing more fun!
