All things girly

Well, here's my first attempt at some bows and clippies. I'm ready for another trip to the fabric store for more ribbon. :)

First batch of bows

How am I doing?
Also, does anyone know of any good online tutorials for different types of bows?

Thanks Keli! That is actually one of the tutorials I used as well. It was very helpful!

I also found this one for korker hair bows... but sounds like a lot of work... dowel rods, baking ribbon in the oven?... who knows, one of these days if I have some spare time I just may give it the ol' college try!

Alison: that is a great site! It took me a few minutes to figure out how to navigate it and find all the tutorials (I'm slow!). But I think I'll try out a couple of those types of bows, and maybe one of these as well!

That is a cute bow holder. I actually just made one for Nella last month. I made her one out of an old frame. I found this tutorial:

It's cute and I only had to buy spray paint!

there are so many websites with so many tutorials- you could get lost in it all! :P
I've found that the most difficult part to bigger bows is figuring out the folding and fluffing of the bow to make it look really good...
guess I need to show some of my bows soon. :)

Leslie, I'd love to see some more of your bows! I know they're adorable. Nick said you were starting to sell yours at craft shows and such?
