Shi is loving her newest toy... her exersaucer! mommy and daddy are loving having another way to keep her occupied for a bit ;)
rollin, rollin, rollin... our little pumpkin is finally doing it! of course, she saved her first roll (tummy to back) for the first weekend that Mommy had to work, while Daddy stayed home with her -- of course! i had been practicing with her for a couple weeks... not fair. nick called me at 7:55 a.m. (5 minutes before i was scheduled to start work) to tell me she had rolled over.
she has also been teething... and not just the drooling-like-crazy-and-putting-everything-in-her-mouth phase, because she's been doing that for a while... i'm talking the changes-in-her-sleeping-habits-and-screaming-in-pain phase... and it is NOT fun. she has been better the last couple days, but earlier this week i was wondering where this child came from and what happened to my laid back, good-natured and silly girl. and her wonderful 8, 9, even 10 hour sleeping stretches at night have been all askew, and are more like 6 hours, wake up, 2 hours, wake up, maybe 1-2 more hours. her lovely 2-3 hour naps have been suffering as well :(
on a lighter note, Shi's eyes are changing color! her once deep baby blues are turning green in the middle. we are anxious to see what color they will end up to be! (my eyes are green, nick's are brown.)
i have added more photos here, which is where i will be attempting to keep some updated photos of Little Squirt posted, so family and friends can stay "up" on the goings-on of our life... because, well, let's face it -- Shi is pretty much our social life right now :)
