During the second week at home with our little boy, we grew to love him even more. We also discovered his tummy was bothering him at times and he would grunt, groan, and squirm as though he was uncomfortable. Again, though, he rarely cried with the discomfort. He, as his dad would say, "took it like a man." At this point he was sleeping okay, and waking probably 3 times per night for feedings. It has been more pleasant this time around to be awakened to grunts and squirming rather than top-of-the-lungs crying. He is such a laidback baby! Here are some photos from week 2:

I love LOVE these hands and feet!

He's our (sweet) little monster :)

He couldn't help but declare how much he loves his mommy :)

As I mentioned before, we gave him his first bath using a sling over the infant tub which kept him too cold, and he was not a fan.
"You're going to put me where?!?"

"Go to my happy place, my happy place..."

Don't. ever. do. that. again!

Hi! I'm handsome.
