Our sweet 11-month old daughter is growing and changing so much, and it's amazing to watch!! It seems like she learns a new skill everyday, and it just blows my mind. She has all four front teeth now. She's taking steps toward things but still not walking everywhere (definitely okay by me... take your time, girl!). She has recently discovered a love for climbing--up things, down things, over things, all over Mom, you name it! She's also pretty into dancing.
As far as communication goes, oh man -- where to start! She points at whatever it is she wants or where she wants to go, and this little girl is quite the talker. I'll attempt to compile a list of some of the words she can say...
...Hi, bye-bye, Mama, Dada, Nana (this applies for both her great grandmother, and bananas), ball ("bah"), baby, bottle ("baba"), bite, kitty cat ("tee tat"), dog, duck, turtle ("tuh tuh"), drink, more (This word is also her first sign), Mimi (our cat, Maggie), apple, no-no (and she'll shake her head with this one), yes, bath, that, door, whoa, yuck yuck, love you ("Yuh you")... and several more that I probably can't think of right now! My favorite, though, has to be her mimic of my calling her my "punkin' pie," which sounds like "Puh pie!"
Here are a few pics of our big girl, and also a few from when we went to the zoo last weekend as our family outing before Nick left for New York.

Nick was overjoyed to see her wearing this outfit...

Talking on the "phone"... "Oh girl, let me TELL you!"
And a more serious conversation, with the hand sanitizer:

We decided she needed to try on the Christmas tree skirt!
And a few from our trip to the zoo:
