... for my friend Jennie. long story short, she has dealt for a long time with chronic pancreatitis and severe, severe PAIN. she underwent this hugely invasive surgery today at the University of Minneapolis Hospital. according to her husband Andy, she is doing fairly well after what was anticpated to be a 12-hour surgery, but there is still a long road ahead. she will probably be in the ICU there for a week and then another 1-2 weeks in the hospital before being able to come home. this girl underwent the same surgery... check out her crazy scar!!
so please Pray for Jennie as she recovers... and let me tell you that, hands down, this childhood friend of mine is one of the strongest people i know!!!

We sure will say a prayer for her!! I'm not looking forward to the 2-3 day stay in the hospital- I can't imagine 2-3 weeks!! I hope she has a swift and safe recovery!
